iPhone 5 Apparently Not The Thinnest Smartphone

At the launch of iPhone 5, Philip Schiller as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Apple claims that the smartphone is the thinnest and lightest in the world.

The claim was based on the thickness of the Apple iPhone 5, which is only about 7.6 mm or 18 percent thinner than the iPhone 4S, and with a weight of 112 grams or 20 percent lighter than the iPhone 4S.

Strategy Analytics, a research firm that has a database of various mobile devices, immediately conduct an investigation into claims that given Schiller.

From the results of the investigation Strategy Analytics, there are some devices that are thinner than the iPhone 5.

Motorola has three smartphones that are thinner than the iPhone 5. Third smartphone is claimed to have a thickness of 7.1 mm size. All three were Motorola RAZR XT909, Motorola DROID RAZR and the Motorola RAZR XT910.
