Oppo R5 appearance was predictable because it is not preceded by rumors and leaks like Oppo N3.
When N3 rely on automatic rotating camera, Oppo R5 have excess body very thin. Oppo claims R5 as the thinnest smartphone in the world.
"With a thickness of 4.855 mm, Oppo R5 is currently the thinnest smartphone in the world," said Bakarik Azeri, Product Manager Oppo Oppo R5 when introduced in Singapore on Wednesday.
According to Azeri, through R5, the Oppo has made improvements on the smartphone detail. Arch at the top and bottom has been refined so that more comfortable when gripped. "The design we call the Micro Arc Frame," Azeri said.
Besides being very thin, Oppo R5 also has a specification that is qualified. Starting from a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen resolution of 1080 x 1920, octa-core processor 1.5 GHz MSM8939 64-bit, 2 GB of RAM, up to 16 GB of internal storage.
Oppo R5 has a rear camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Just as N3, Oppo R5 also features a mini VOOC aka Rapid Charging the battery charging feature that quickly. Thanks to this feature, the battery capacity of 2000 mAh R5 can be charged up to 75 percent within 30 minutes.
